SHIPPING POLICY

1. Our Shipping Philosophy

At Le Roche Sauvage we believe in durability—not just for our waxed canvas gear, but for the planet. We intentionally limit our shipping destinations to countries where we can guarantee a reliable, legal, and eco-responsible delivery process.

2. Where We Ship

We currently offer standard shipping to the following regions:

  • European Union: France, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Ireland, Portugal, and Italy.

  • International: United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Note: If your country is not listed, we may still be able to ship to you! Please email lerochesauvage@gmail.com for a manual shipping quote and a check of your local import regulations.

3. Sustainability & Recycling (EPR Compliance)

We take our "Extended Producer Responsibility" seriously. We are fully registered and compliant with national recycling schemes in our primary markets to ensure our packaging is handled responsibly:

  • France: Registered with Citeo (Packaging) and Refashion (Textiles). IDU: FRXXXXXX_01XXXX.

  • Germany: Registered with the LUCID Packaging Register. Registration: DE2607351867647

  • Packaging: We use 100% plastic-free tissue paper and biodegradable/compostable mailers. Please reuse or compost them!

4. International Customs & Duties

When shipping outside the European Union (UK, Canada, Australia), your package may be subject to local import duties and taxes.

  • Who Pays? The recipient is responsible for all customs fees, VAT, or GST applied by their country at the time of delivery.

  • Canada: Please note that Canada has a low tax-free threshold ($20 CAD); most orders will incur local sales tax and a carrier handling fee.

  • Australia: We use Paraffin-based wax (mineral) rather than beeswax to ensure our canvas gear moves smoothly through Australian Biosecurity without delay.

5. Estimated Delivery Times

Once Shipped:

  • France: 2–4 business days.

  • EU (Germany, Belgium, etc.): 3–7 business days.

  • UK, Canada, Australia: 7–14 business days (subject to customs processing).

​​RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY​

1. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (EU/UK)

Under EU and UK consumer rights, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your item, for any reason.

  • To start a return: Please contact us within 14 days of delivery.

  • Return Shipping: Items must be shipped back within 14 days of your return request. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Condition: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition. If the item is returned damaged or with visible signs of wear, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

2. Exceptions (Custom & Made-to-Order)

Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Customized Items: Any piece featuring custom initials, specific color modifications requested by the buyer, or bespoke sizing.

  • Personalized Goods: Items made specifically to your unique specifications that cannot be resold to another customer. (These items are "Final Sale" unless they arrive damaged or defective).

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

We stand by the durability of our waxed canvas and leather. If your item arrives with a defect or is damaged during transit, please contact us immediately with photos of the packaging and the product. We will offer a full refund or a replacement at no extra cost to you. Additionally, thoughout the life of your product, if your item breaks or needs repairs, please contact us to see if we can help.

4. International Returns (Outside EU)

For orders from the USA, Canada, or Australia:

  • Original shipping costs and any import duties/taxes paid by the buyer are non-refundable.

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping service for returns, as we cannot issue a refund until the item is safely back in our studio.
