The Heritage Materials & Insulation
 
The heart of this mat lies in its extraordinary insulation layer. Each piece is lined with authentic, repurposed ex-Household Cavalry vintage military 100% wool. This heavyweight, dense navy blue wool is naturally flame-retardant, exceptionally warm, and holds its thermal properties even when the ground beneath you is freezing.
 
The Protective Barrier: The underside is constructed from our heavy grade, weather-resistant waxed canvas. This layer completely seals out mud, groundwater, and dampness, keeping the premium wool lining bone-dry.
The Dedicated Carry Pouch: Each utility mat folds up neatly into its own matching waxed canvas pouch. The pouch is fitted with an adjustable paracord shoulder strap and a solid metal toggle slider, allowing for effortless, hands-free portability on long hikes.
